SnOasis has just been given the formal go ahead to be built near the Suffolk County town of Ipswich on the site of an old cement works at Great Blakenham. SnOasis will be the UK and world’s first winter sports resort offering a totally new concept in family activity holidays when it finally opens in the UK in the British Olympic year of 2012. At the heart of the SnOasis complex that will be based at an old cement works near Ipswich in the UK will lie Europe’s largest indoor ski slope, measuring 415 metres long by 70 metres wide, with a 100 metre vertical drop. SnOasis will provide a great environment for both Skiers and Snowboarders alike giving an exhilarating experience in a place closer to home, away from the mountians.

As with all winter holidays most visitors to SnOasis will undoubtedly want to pack as much activity into their stay as possible. Unlike traditional winter sports resorts it offers so much more.
